hi phil that is cheap, surely you dont heat your home with electricity as well, i have a coal fire and oil fired central heating ,my electricity bill is still higher than that ,its just gone up 25% as well .im afraid we have a high cost of living in jersey its a £1.05 for a loaf of bread here .carl it is probably not ideal without uvb, but to really benefit from it you would need to set the tubes very low, and these are big animals and may cause damage. also as i think phil has said before if you warm them up enough even on the coldest days they will go out and an hour in the dayljight is better than any uvb lamp. phil dont know about these powersun bulbs are they uvb and if so do you find your leopards use them enough as i will look into getting some also any chance of an inside view of your shed to see how they are set.
