Great pictures.

A breeder in Sweden Hasse Olsson just got twins. Testudo Hermanni twins and they are doing fine. Look at www.oktv.se/hemsida/hans.olsson and klicka at Nyheter/ galleri to se his pictures.

Barbara can you tell us how you split the twins please?
I am always interested in these sort of things.

hi sandy, the twins shared the same cord, the biggest twin had dragged tiny around the incubator for a while so the cord was quite a mess, and tiny was quite weak i did'nt seperate them i took them to the vet tiny needed a little stitch in her tummy, i must be honest i did'nt think she would survive because i could'nt get her to eat but she was drinking so in the end i bathed her in critical care twice a day and once aday i bathed her in plain water with a touch off zol cal d and now touch wood she's eating weeds as normal and bathing as normal, she can now even put herself in her water and climbs on the slate to feed herself she is putting on weight , i do weigh her daily and i watch her feed when she hatched her weight was 2.5g and now she is nearly 4g the other twin was a really good size and has never had any problems.

That's great news Barbara. I'm glad to see that Tiny is doing great and gaining weight. Your doing a great job with him.
