Pretty similar but the end part doesn't have much of a point and is bit wider and rounder there.

That sounds pretty similar to what Herbies is like too. The picture shows what it was like the first time he flashed. It has got a much more flared, rounded end. Looks like a big sucker.

Going to have to agree with Ross on this one. Females will also show off their girl bits (yes female tortoises have girl bits )

ok so girls can also display thier 'bits' so to speak. What is the difference between the sexes then as I have a male who has only ever displayed the end of his bits (this reads very rude Sorry!!) it has never been fully out and he's about 5/6yrs. The othe r2 younger ones have flashed the whole gory beast from beneath hence NO doubt waht so ever they are boys. has anyone got photos so we know what to look for.
P>S I am not odd ! i would just like to know the difference & I am sure a few other folk would too. A very embarassed Sue |

I'm sure someone posted pictures on here before. Not sure what to put into search though.

I found these. Sit down and take a deep breath before looking.

That is the difference between female bits and male bits. Female bits never come out far and are fairly small compared to male bits.
