Day 48 Eggs changing colour?

I noticed last week that egg 1 had changed colour, egg 3 has now done the same but egg 2 has remained chalky white. I am worried that this means the eggs have gone 'bad'.

I took a photo and also tried candling them again. Help, why have they changed colour? I notice that Egg 2 doesn't let much light through either? What does this mean?

I'm no expert but I don't think they are fertile, the 2 dark ones definitely aren't.

Oh no! Thank you both for replying. I've had such high hopes for these eggs. On first candling they looked fertile.

I am still holding hope for egg 2, it is definitely not letting light through the egg and had remained chalky white. Can you get some fertile and some infertile in the same clutch?

What should I do with eggs 1 and 3, remove them and discard them? I was thinking of putting them in a separate tray in the incubator incase they crack or explode. I just hate the idea of giving up on one...

The one in picture 4 looks ok but the others are definitely no good so I would remove them to answer your question yes you can get some fertile and some not fertile in the same clutch can you take another picture of that egg with the torch at the side as opposed to the top.

I will have another go this afternoon with a better torch than my iphone. I'll remove eggs 1 and 3 as well. Fingers crossed for egg 2.

Make sure it is as dark as possible.

I'm not holding out much hope. Looks similar to egg 1 and 3, except dark patch is at the bottom...

The egg in the middle has definitly chalked over, and certainly has more of a chance than the other two. You can see the outside ones have still got the pink tinge to them.
I think that the middle one could well be fertile, and depending on your temps needs at least another 15-20 days to be sure.
If the eggs had gone bad you would smell it:0)
