I was going to ask people's opinions about something not tort related but can't remember what it was, been trying to think what it was for three days now. It might come to me soon.

My mother in law proudly announced there was a herb to help with memory loss but she had forgotten what it was!! Then proceeds to curl up laughing! (Think it was Sage?)

knots in string. When I go shopping I remember how many items I need to remember and place the number against the item - then I can think of the number but forget what it was I needed.....until I get home !
apparently knots in string help, but you can end up with a load of string with knots in! CB

Was it St John's Wort? I remember something about that being good for concentration but when I was taking it I ran into the back of a lorry. However, looking back on that I think it was an insurance scam as it happened to him twice in a week, little or no damage to his vehicle but my insurance said he was claiming for all sorts of stuff. He pulled away at a roundabout then stopped suddenly and I ran into him. |

Was that the crash you had on the way to pick up your fish and chips, Alan? I remember that happening!
If it makes you feel better I have to keep a note of all the things I need to do or I forget. My memory is shot to pieces and I'm always getting my days in a muddle. Can't even blame old age. Just middle age!

oh dear that's awful Alan. some strange people around with weird ideals. love fish and chips on a Friday night - real treats ville.
Ok did you know some people have an imagination and others don't - this helps remember things as the imagination can create images and whilst the brain can generate a description some people can't actually generate an image. Book lovers usually can because they 'live' the book but there is a minority that simply can't - they found this out with PTSD - as some people are suseptical whilst others cant relive the image so they simply forget. I like lists. CB

Lists - I don't know where I'd be without them. Currently sat at my desk and looking at three post-it notes with things to do on them, a reminder that my friend in Adelaide is 8.5 hrs ahead of me (or else I email her and her phone pings and wakes her at stupid O'clock when she's in the land of dreams) and my diary. Where would I be without my diary, calendar and lists?!! Interesting about the PTSD though, CB.
