Still no rain here!!!
Just sun sun sun, but the tortoises don't know it, i keep putting the spinkler on every night, they love it.. Darren |

I wish we could put a sprinkler on hose pipe ban since last year

I'm not allowed the sprinkler on ever since we got a water meter . But mine do enjoy a shower with the watering can lol gives me a chance to water the enclousure too

Hi again,
I eventually tried to find Hokie to make sure he was all right. I found him easily enough under the leaves of his favourite pansy. I gently cleared the earth, had a good look for any abnormal sign and... he went back burying down nearly immediately afterwards. I suppose that's his thing I don't want to impose my stress on him and "force" him to use the housing (I remember too well how my mum's worrying all the time used to get on my nerves ) so I guess I will let him dig and bury all he wants, as long as I can spot him out every two or three days. I suppose he will be more active when it's not so hot anymore. Thanks again for your advice Sandy. Desdemona |

It will be ok, as long as you know where his is<g>. Just in case of a sudden heavy down pour
or flooding. You can always dig him up if needs be.
