Monday at last, my wife is not up yet but when she gets up she will find the tree is down . I am about to haul it to bits now, sick of the sight of it now so I am.
2012 is a leap year so it gives the tree an extra day in the cupboard. Roll on spring and summer |

yes, she got the say on when it went up
she's not bothered anyway, she's not into christmas much either these days because when everyone's having a great time she's working. yesterday was her first christmas day off in six years but she's back to work this afternoon, 1-9. I'm sick of the tangle of wires lying on the floor so it's now been dismantled |

I normally really enjoy xmas but this year I haven't beable to get into it at all. First time ever I have stayed at home on xmas day and it was sooooo boring.Grown up Kids upstairs in their rooms, husband watching crap films that I don't like, dog hoping around in pain.
Today we are going to hubby's family. They are cooking another big roast,ot good for me as I hate roasts

it will be a battle in the shops all week, huge queues with people returning stuff and kids spending their cash and vouchers and nothing on the shelves, no bread because the bakeries are on holiday, no fresh produce etc. Then by the weekend folk going mad in the shops again buying stuff they don't need 'just in case'

My trees still up - just, have to say I'm a bit sick of it now too but got to leave it up as we're having a little New Years Eve party.
Kinda looking forward to that but starting to wish I wasn't bothering as I'm panicing it will be crap and no-one will come |
