Darren the middle lost tortoise isn't a Hermanns, but a Moroccan spur thigh, Testudo graeca marokkensis.

Hi Dan,
You could well be right I must admit I thought the same initially due to the shape and the colouration. But went with the owner's ID after I decided a lot of the colouration was due to oil and there is a definite greeny tinge underneath. Difficult to ask for more photos to confirm the speceis when it is lost  Never mind fingers crossed it turns up Cheers Darren |
