Apparently some may not even have left, because of the mild winter. They're not usually here until May. I wonder if the swifts will be early this year, they usually arrive on May 4th.

is it swifts or swallows that don't have claws on their feet and never land.

Definitely wasn't seeing things just seen it again, is been a really nice week first the frogs have started to lay and yesterday I saw a bat flying over my house and keep landing on the roof where upon it disappeared under the tiles then from out of know where a rosella parakeet apeared on our bird table and we also have a red kite that has taken up residents not sure what's going to appear next happyness overload

Well I'm happy again was just out in the garden and heard a familiar screeching looked up and saw a load of swifts

Me too Gordon, about 1.30 this afternoon, I spotted them, they must have just arrived, how do they do it, May 4th almost every year, it's a special moment in my calendar 😊
