I have not been to a tortoise meet in a long time,I am over due a meet.It gets lonely here in Devon,I enjoy meeting like minded people.I will look into that.

Hi Jeff,

I also really wanted to go to this. I am not sure a train is practical. Perhaps one time we could do a car share from the Devon/Somerset border?
And I could spend the whole journey telling you how the torts are doing! LOL!

Oh thank you I do put the heating on at 12.00 when I get the keys but you are right, it is such a big hall it takes a while to heat. It is a lovely place for our meetings though and please say hello to her for me and I hope she is well. I haven't spoken to her since cancelling the last one when out of hospital. Many thanks

Yaaaay just booked a place and got myself a train ticket out of Somerset... now all I need to do is to teach myself how to use the underground! Scaaaaary! Knowing me I shall probably find it as the door is being locked at the end!

Just made two loads of chocolate brownies, one coffee sponge cake and one chocolate sponge cake

Should be a good meeting and will be great to see everyone again after 4 months break
