I'm nearly in England, it's 225 miles to inverness

I have been there many times though as I was at boat of garten for a while and working at just north of carrbridge

That's very kind of you Corra but I'm not really into meetings and clubs etc. I doubt I would go even if it was just down the street. I am never able to plan any further ahead than the next day that's probably why I never go to anything these days

We're specifically not making it a club - not too keen on these either! Just informal get togethers over coffee/a drink for a good chat!

Hi Corra. I'd like to go but Scotland being the country it is, London is probably nearer to me here in Glasgow than the highlands are. And in travel time you would be still further than that! So realistically it might not happen anytime soon but its good to know of that activity going on. Those of us in the central belt can attend the occasional tortoise evening at the Royal Dick Vet school hosted by Kevin Eatwell. J

You are welcome to attend any time you're up this way Jonathan though I completely understand the distance problem! Let me know of any of Kevin Eatwell's presentations that you hear of and I'll try and make it down to Edinburgh.
