Really? I know they are not as hardy as horsefields and hermanns but I didn't think it be much of a difference.

You can only really ask your question to those who have kept/or keep both species because I notice that most have just recommended Hermanns having never owned Horsfields and vice versa

I have never kept Ibera so would not be able to make an unbiased opinion on them

Are Hermanns really that bad Kelly? In my experience, my horsefields can be just as slapped faced lol. My 4 are grumpy sods if I don't get them their breakfast quick enough

Let's face it, most tortoises look grumpy the Herman tortoise has a gentle nature and is one of the prettiest too, so let's not have such a downer on this lovely little tortoise Hermans all the way

Totally agree. All tortoises have lovely faces, Hermanns especially (I know I'm biased!!).

I didn't know which to choose either, personally I think they are both beautiful, I got Hermanns simply because it was the right place at the right time for me, I don't regret my choice, they are so funny and once you get the rights lights and into a routine, I don't find them hard to look after. But, we are all biased to our own species so I'd say a Hermann. Though I did consider getting 1 of each before I got my second and third Hermanns
