Question Thoughts on .. Humidifiers & Fake Animals!!

What are the thoughts on fake animals in the enclosures ... eg, a hedgehog or fellow-tortoise type thing. Let me see if I can find some examples on good old eBay ...

Something like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/garden-orn...item4ad6099975
or
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hagen-Rena...item1c3d48804c
(just examples, not my choice necessarily!)

Also, what about humidifiers - any good, worth it or waste of money?
eg; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5L-Porta...item43ca3c0fb8

Just wondered and throwing in my 'thoughts for the day'

If you have a male tortoise, it could take a fancy to one of the animal ornaments when it's a little older.
My Theo is in love with his cactus!

I haven't bothered with animal ornaments, except for one mosaic tortoise in Hugo's outside enclosure, which he ignores. I know a few people have them and sometimes there's quite a romance!

It's an artificial one and has lost most of its spines. He really adores it!
It's the little squeaks that give it away when he's got that loving feeling.
