Default What is edible ... And growing stuff

I have an extensive list of plants, vegetables and n0-nos for feeding. However, can I ask regarding said veg, flowers, weeds, plants a Hermann CAN eat ..

(1) Is it the flowering/flowers bits as well as the leaves?
(2) For growing some of my own, what do I plant them in (dirt/soil/whatever)

Thank you

Weeds are always the best for tortoises, rather than veg.
Weeds need the poorest soil you have, sow, water and leave nature to do its thing. This is outside:0)

Yes the flowers as well but not always the whole plant, for example honeysuckle flowers but not leaves, roses petals but not leaves and there are others.

Check out www.thetortoisetable.org.uk for stuff to eat
