Richard,
I am meeting up with two friends whom have hatched 7 spotted Turtles this year, at the Kempton Park Show. Some of these may be of interest to you?

I have a couple of questions about wood turtles:

light and heat: which specific products available in the UK are best for this? When should what be on or off, what do you do at night for example?

Housing: is a Clearseal 48x15x12 tank with the clearseal vivarium lid appropriate? My concern is that it is long enough but too narrow.

Location of the vivarium: should I be concerned about proximity to the TV or radiator? I have a more quiet spot away from both. The room has lots of light through skylights but gets quite cold in the winter.

Thanks
