hi ya, woody is great thanks. he is still quite skitty and nervous around me and is picky eater even though everywhere i read says they love food but i think it may take him a few months to settle in properly. i did have him in a viv but he would not settle so have moved him to a larger tort table in a heated room and will be getting a glass top for it to keep the humidity in. he doesnt hide but either sits in his water tub or sleeps on his log. they are very pretty and very good climbers he also enjoys having a spray from the water bottle. i will post some more piccies soon just need to find the lead

Hi Dolittle,

Glad Woody's good; it can take a while for them to settle. That'd be great - can't wait to see your pics.

Rec'd an email from a friend here in the UK who has currently both babies and "grown on" captive bred Painted Wood Turtles (Rhinoclemmys pulcherimma manni).
These beautiful animals are available direct from the breeder and present an ideal opportunity to get into a semi terrestrial Central American Wood turtle species. Those who already have them, maybe an opportunity to get new bloodline for future breeding project.
PM for contact details?

With the recent spell of good weather, these Central American turtles are enjoying long days in natural sunshine, and just love to get a shower from a cooling hose:

Geomyda, i know you posted this some time ago but do you know if the breeder still has any left? I would be very interested in adding some to my existing group, a definate male and hopefully two females. Many thanks.
