I can totally relate to that. I started with one, which turned to four within a year and five a year later....then a surprise egg led to number six and now I've doubled that and have twelve. But I don't intend to breed either. Not for a while at any rate and then only for the family. I feel so blessed that a female came to me unexpectedly gravid and I got to experience the whole amazing egg-laying, incubation, hatching experience.
Exciting times for you, Matt. Enjoy every second. Tortoises really do bring something special into our lives.
