Default a bit worrying...

nothing to major..but i worry alot, i wrote on here the other day asking about georgies behaviour and im just looking for some reassurance...george is about 10 and half cm... behaviour has been a bit slow for a few weeks which i put down to winding down, not eating much...now has started digging a few holes stomping round like a loon and eating like theres no tomorrow! also noticed tail over the past week has got quite fat...which i read is a sign of intention of laying ... i was told george is male and ive had him 4 months(ish) and i have no other tortoises. then i was reminded that they like to hold sperm until they are ready to fertilise.....please some one tell me she/he is too small.... i got the idea in my head and am worried im going to find eggs lol!!!!

Hi Vikki, were you told on here he was male?
I would pop a post up and take a few good pics of his/her plasteron including tail and just double check.
I dont think there is any thing to worry about. If anything, it could be down to temps last week being slightly mild during the day. Its not been real cold.
So he could be reacting to this. Eating, pooping, sleeping and active - sounds healthy to me!
Keep the bathing up too.
But honestly, I think he sounds very happy. And also if he is small...you want him to put a little weight on, yes?? xx Recheck his sex IMO, for your piece of mind. xx
