Hi welcome. I have horsefields they don't get too big and are very hardy. There are loads of lovely people on here who will help you out. X

Hi & welcome.
I have 2 dwarf hermanns, (testudo hermanni hermanni)very cute tortoises,, they only get to about 15cm, the only problem is, they are very hard to find & much more expensive than THB's.

Marg.

Hello Marg I am so glad to hear you have got dwarf Hermanns! I have been looking into getting them, may I ask where did you get yours?

I have 2 toddler Herman tortoises - now 2 years old. They are definately still small but growing at their own pace. After 50 years they might just be the size of my hand? Is that too big or too long to wait for them growing up. They love the veranda and the window ledge just fine. They do not like draughts of any sort.
I learn something new every day = especially how to slow down myself and just relax....
