Ta,
Something we are noticing is that Macey is on pet shop time. At about 6.30 every evening she takes herself off to bed by burying herself in the substrate. Is this normal? Ian |

I wouldn't say that's anything to worry about. It's cold outside...and dark outside.
6:30pm IMO is quite a good time that Macey is off to bed. Very good. xx |

Hi,
Thanks for the reassurance re Maceys bedtime. She totally buried herself tonight rig down in the substrate but still under her lamp. Gonna go from a 50w basking lamp to a 100w. I don't train dogs anymore. I am not really competitive and the pressure was on to enter more international competitions and continue to beat the police and prison dogs that I was pitched against. Holland was a moment of glory. I am still the only Brit to have competed in the Dutch KNPV I came 4th in the Southern Holland champs with Sako. The spectators could not believe I was not Dutch. Failing that they thought I was a rich American who had paid to rehandle a Dutch trained dog. It was one if the most intense and emotional weeks of my life! Maybe I could train Macey to be an attack tortoise Regards Ian |
