Thought you might like a look at the pigeon that was in the box i picked up from Bristol ,white naped pheasant pigeon (otidiphaps nobilis) one of the rarest pigeons in the world .

very much so these birds are classed as endangered and are part of an international breeding programme. The bird in the picture is the hen she is sitting now on an infertile egg the male is in quarantine and will remain there for 30days after which he will be introduced to the female and with a lot of luck and good husbandry little pheasant pigeons will appear within the next few months Darren
