That neice of yours needs watching. She managed to break a tort table, a tube light and a light starter. Should send her mum the bill. Kids like that need restraining My kids are 3 and 6 and have never even broken a plate, i guess im so lucky!

Hi cpx
Try putting some card blockers around the base on the outside of the tank this will stop the tortoise trying to walk through it all the time and getting stressed .
Your niece must be a big girl to right off a whole tortoise table plus equipment cpx .

Get grandad to nip down B & Q get a pack of Wooden Gravel boards, out of that he will be able to knock up a couple of decent sized outdoor enclosures, put some stones, water, logs, plants, and some loose earth for them to bury down in, some pots buryed so they can hide, cover them with netting so birds, cats don't get to them and get them outside !!

Make sure its on good firm ground so the cant escape underneath, maybe bury an inch in the ground and peg it down!

This will give you some breathing space to sort the indoor accomodation..

As for the weeds sorry no excuse, this green and pleasant land has plenty of parks, woodlands, and green areas all of which contain weeds, study the pictures on here and get some good weeds for your tortoises, this should become part of your daily routine until you have your own supply growing in yours or grandads garden.

The weeds are free, and it should only take you 10mins to find the weeds needed for your two baby tortoises..

Any more questions ??

How do you break a tortoise table ?? I don't want to sound like I'm getting at you but not having weeds in your garden isn't really an excuse If I can't find any in my Garden i have to go elsewhere to pick them.

Sorry you say in one breath that you know they are not in the right enclosures or being fed
a correct diet. Then ask what we think of it all.
Well I think you have answered it yourself<g>.
