Default Warning for being off sick!!!

Hi

I was off sick with sciatica, which I still have, anyway as I am leaving my current job shorlty I, any way to cut a long story short I went back to work dosed up on pain killers.
I had a warning about my sickness even though I am leaving next week As I stated that if it wasnt for the fact that I was leaving next week and wanted to tie up lose ends re work I would still be off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does that achieve?! Some managers dont have the sense they were born with, did you have a sick note from your GP or self cert?

Yep

Had a sick certificate, apparently it is their new procedure to give you warnigns for sickness levels, even though I leave next week.
I also had to have a back to work interview, honestly what a waste of paper.
I look forward to working for a different employer.

his first absence in over 20 years

he had a back to work interview

mind you it only lasted 2 mins

the interviewers were extremely embarrassed when they saw his work attendance and punctuality records

How many husbands do you have? And do they know about each other, no wonder you are always so happy.

Trouble is there are so many "off sick" for very long stretches of time, and not much wrong
with them.
A bit like having to fill out every three years a disability form, when the disability is permanant
and can only get worse.
