Default North American Wood Turtles and Others...

Does anyone else on here keep/breed North American Wood Turtles (Glyptemys insculpta), Spotted Turtles (Clemmys guttata), Eastern/Florida Box Turtles (Terrapene carolina ssp.) and/or Northern Diamondback Terrapins (Malaclemys terrapin terrapin) ? I have been breeding these species for years now and it's always interesting to hear other keepers' experiences and methods of doing things. I'd especially love to hear from people outside the U.S.A. to hear how these North American species do in other countries.

i used to have a pair of wood turtles but had to sell them and miss them dearly.
I love semi aquatic and terrestrial species and would love to get some more, but prices are high here and availability is often not that great either.

They are amazing animals. My favorites of all chelonians remains the hermanns tortoises, but I can't get enough of all these guys. Unfortunately most of them are protected over here and I had to go through hell to get the proper permits, but it was totally worth it.

That is a Concentric Diamondback Terrapin, they get their name from the well defined concentric circles on the carapace and the black tear drop markings over white skin on the head and limbs.

Here are some pictures of what they turn out like:

This is a 2 year old male I raised:

This is an adult female who has laid multiple clutches for me:
