Hi!! Oh you are lucky to have an aldabra, we are all very jealous! Whats your set up for her, if you don't mind me asking?

The aluminium shed is not staying in the aldab area. You can see Dillon taking a mud bath in the first picture and Daisy wandering about near the shed, they have a fair amount of space considering their size but I am aware they grow pretty quickly and I need this area to last them for a few years. The following picture is my Hermanns enclosures (they are all covered, I took the cover off to take the picture, from the top down there is my shed, chicken coop, baby hermans enclosure then my adult hermans enclosure. Once the Aldabs get big and the utility room is done they can have the run of the entire garden and the smaller area they are currently in can be given to the adult Hermans. I'm not too sure where I am going to put the redfoots at the moment but once the weather improves I'll get outside and start planning properly. |

Hi Fats,
Wow your torts are very beautiful not as bumpy as I had imagined through your message- they will smooth out loads. I beleive females smooth out more than males and get rounder too. How old are they both and what do they measure please? x
