Limestone flour is pure calcium, they can eat as much of this as they like.

Nutrabol has been recommended recently by the tortoise trust for growing tortoises on their food daily, it says on the bottle of nutrabol 1 pinch per kilo body weight per animal being fed.

This is not a great way of measuring a dose anyway, so until there is a definate measurement I would always be cautious not to overdose your tortoise on these suppliments. For arguments sake if your tortoise is 100g in weight how do you guess 1/10th of a normal pinch. So really it is guess work to a certain degree so there is no real right or wrong answer to the question.

Saying this my tortoises have got lovely smooth strong shells, so maybe my guess work isnt far wrong.

So long as they are getting some nutrabol it is definately better than none.
