1 prolapse and 2 eggs later.. :)
After digging nests for a week and 4 days and abandoning them, we took dannys advice and built a 3x3ft pen and filled it with soil, with rocks for her to climb into it.. and within 10 mins she was well on her way to digging her final nest
Atiny bit of pink flesh was hanging out when she was laying, so we put vaseling around the egg and it soon came out, with the 2nd closely behind. She's fine now though! Pics... The pen.. Nesting.. In a bit of trouble... Problem resolved... Here comes number 2... All done!! About time for something to eat!... |
