Tortoise beak worn down too much

Hi all

One of Hermann's tortoise has worn her beak down too much... when her beak is closed there is a gap... I think she liked the cuttlefish too much as she is always nibbling at it... I have now removed it.
How bad is this? How long will it take to grow back? Is this common?
It must affect her ability to munch on the weeds well. Is their a special soft mix I could feed her?

I'm not sure how long it could take to grow down, you could always chop her weeds up a bit if she's having trouble hearing them. I've seen mine manage to swallow quite long stems so as long as she's picking bits up she should be ok. I'd keep monitoring her to judge what she can manage and adjust the sizes of the pieces accordingly
