I think my egg has gone bad??

4 weeks in and I have just looked at the egg and this is what i see.

It chalked over fine, yolk settled fine, i even saw the ring of life. Temperature has remained constant of about 31.

Part of where it chalked seemed to go translucent in spots and then when i just turned the egg round it seemed to be a bit dark on one bit - see pic.

When candled, it looked really dark inside exactly where it is dark on the outside.

Do we think its time to give up?

I think it might have gone bad
