Here's the thread I got the idea from-obviously t would be adapted slightly but have a good idea. What about humidity? Anything I can do to increase it and what is the ideal for the eggs?

80 to 90% humidity it good for Redfoot eggs. They need to sit on a damp substrate (1 to 1 ratio by weight) and have a very large surface area water container. Just weigh the container with the eggs (container, eggs and damp substrate) to get a base weight and weigh every few weeks and add back any water the has evaporated.

Would vermiculite be best for the substrate? If I can get away with moss tahtw would be better as I can get it from our woods and give it a good clean to get rid of any bugs.

Moss can work but I'd go with glitter grade vermiculite (it's a larger size vermiculite and gives good aeration to the eggs).
