Hinge Back testicles
I have been naughty! I have 2 hingebacks,supposed to be girls but they have testicles I think? Is it possible for a tortoise to have them on view?

Ok, Sherlock doesn't have obvious testicles. I didn't prod him about too much as he had settled down for the night. I'll get some pics, hang on again........

are they just next to the tail and hard to the touch? Because they're likely just the bones from their hips. You can't see testicles in the torts from the outside, they're contained within (My male of the same species doesn't have any visible).
Having seen their photos im pretty sure they're both girls. You wouldn't see the testes unless something was horribly wrong. I'd take them to the vet if you're worried. |
