Cool They're here!!!!

Having been hanging around for a few months now, finalising the house/enclosure, we finally picked up our 2 (female we think) Hermanns on Monday.

So a great many thanks to Helen (helsbells) and Kev for accomodating us on Monday, and moreso on the morning of receiving your great news too!!

Anyway, I haven't got any decent/proper photos yet will sort that tonight hopefully!

We have named them "Valentino" - because Sam said it sounds romantic, and "Fiorano" - because I thought it sounds good - it is the name of a place in Italy where Ferrari test their cars lol.

Fiorano is the bigger of the two, and is 'mine' because she wee'd on me whilst we were choosing at Helens house - so I think that we were chosen rather than did the choosing

So Fiorano is a December 2010 hatchling, and Valentino is a February Hatchling

Valentino made a b-line for the food when we put them in the enclosure, this included climbing over the top of Fiorano to get to it.... sounds like home really! hehehe

No doubt the names will get shortened to 'Val' and 'Fi', but at least it still works

Funny you should say that - as thats what I said to Sam, I don't think she was overly impressed I managed to find a link back to motorsport again

Great names, lovely torts, we had two cats called Bayliss and Chili who are sadly no longer with us, but the dog is called Frankie, so were superbike fans!
