hi vivp, email them on wildlife.enforce@defra.gsi.gov.uk
and ask them for a tortoise licance form, thats what i did

Hi Paul,

In the Republic of Ireland, you need to register your tortoise through the Department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government, 7 Ely Place, Dublin 2.

You need to contact Noreen Kerins in the Species and Regulations Unit of The National Parks and Wildlife Service she will send you out a form to complete which you send back with your original Article 10 paperwork, I would advise you to take a photcopy of the original and send the letter registered post, as a copy of this important document is near impossible to obtain.

why cant i register with defra, would they accept it- i have never come across this before

I contacted DEFRA to re register Dug after getting her chipped, they said i had to contact the Irish version of their department as above, no sorry, no website, can give you phone number though.

018882000 or locall 1890321421 ask for Noreen Kerins
