Default Hermann Egg question

Hi all

As some of you probably know i have 6 hermann egg's which have probably been in the incubator for around 6-7 weeks if more.. I should of written the dates down.. will make sure i do that next time!

Anyway.. so it says the average is what... 9 weeks for a egg to hatch? One of mine looks like its rotting inside but there is no smell *yet* and only last week once has started a deep white spot at the top which could mean its fertile.

Could that be so to show a chance of being fertile this late on?

A slightly confused Adam

Never actually incubated Hermanns eggs as my female always breaks hers, but I have seen reports of them hatching anytime after 53 days.

It depends on the temperature of incubation as to how long it takes for fertile eggs to hatch.
If 32'-32.5 then approx 54-64 days lower temperatures longer.

Then it could take up to 70 days as a rough guide.

Could you possibly post a picture of the egg you think is rotting inside? Its possible there's maybe something growing in there.
