Does it rain in the wild?
As long as they have the option to go into shelter then its fine, just let them do what they like

Summer rain fall is fine and i often leave mine out in it except for small babies that is.
Tortoises enjoy it and helps hydrate them naturally .
Is it raining where you are its still burning sunshine here in Cheshire could do with rain weeds are dying off
