Hi from Suffolk
I've been reading for a few days now, registered yesterday and thought I should say hello today.
I'm Sarah, married to Jimmy and we have 3 kids - Ellie (9), Harrison (6) and Oscar (1), we also have a cockapoo called Max and 2 guinea pigs called Nutmeg and Peppa. We live in Hadleigh, Suffolk, but are waiting to exchange contracts as we are buying a house in Buxhall, Stowmarket. We had hoped to be moved in by now, but it's taking longer than we hoped! Typical! Anyway, we have wanted tortoises for a few years now, but not had the space. When we are finally moved, we will have lots of extra room in the house and also the garden is around an acre in size, therefore we will have room for some new additions to the family! I have started researching into tortoise tables, food, care, breeders and the different types etc, and am getting lots of ideas. Ellie has decided she wants to call one Rafe so I have decided to name them Rafe and Leo, short for Raphael and Leonardo...  Let's hope they don't turn out to be girls  So that's me. Thanks everybody! Great to see lots of lovely welcome messages and someone so local to me too
I am undecided between Hermanns and Horsfields.. keep changing my mind I will definitely post photos when I finally get my new babies home. We're hoping to exchange contracts at the end of the week, fingers crossed! Sarah |
