I was lucky & got a carrier bag full just before it snowed which I have been mixing with other things to make it last. Yesterday I soaked some pellets, chopped finely & burried into rehydrated grass pellets & they demolished the lot.

Im gonna prob need to get out Sat and Sunday this week. But I have ordered the cobs that Dave was talking about on my 'weeds/mish mash' post.

I have just been megga cautious with my little bit of plantain. Got sod all else...in terms of weeds. Pretty naff diet at the mo...plantain, lambs lettuce, rommain, kale, and a few pellets...
All it needs now is a Big Mac n Fries to make it 100% pure rubbish.

I was very interested in this food after reading good reports/seeing pictures on the TT forum. I got in touch with the Co who made it but you had to buy a huge amount & carriage was over £10 (however much you had) Which variety & size did you opt for Rach & did they give you any indication of how long before it arrives?

Rach have you looked into nutritional values of shop bought food? Some are better than others, some are actually quite good for getting through periods like this. Go for organic if possible. Also you have your cobs arriving shortly.

I am going for a look on Monday to see what I can find my torts are fed up methinks! I tried them with some curly kale and they were not impressed at all

Aww Clare your mix sounds good to me, the 'fed up' could be more than likely due to the weather temps, it has taken a bad turn for us. I'm sure the torts can sense it before it arrives!!
