I spot clean daily and fully clean out once every 3 - 4 weeks. I cant stand the soil drying out, by 3 weeks its so dry even when i water it everyday!!

if you can avoid having them pee in the substrate and are able to collect the poops as they appear which is usually only once a day or less then it can last much longer, it also depends how big it is

A daily soak helps with this... Pee and poop in the bath

my ones used to poop in the bath but don't any more. if I leave them long enough in there they do but it's because they get totally stressed trying to get out so I just give them 15 mins and they usually manage a pee but that's all

Hoe much substrate do you have? I would find it hard to change all of it that often as mine have a good 5 or 6 inches of it. Its a big Tupperware tub, about 3' by 18" and about 2' tall so its deep enough for it.

Still I'm thinking of doing that and replacing with just baked top soil instead of the sand/top soil I have right now. How much is enough so that I can actually change it more often?
