they must be pretty big stones. One of mine chews on pebbles like there is no tomorrow outdoors and I am amazed how large they are when they come out the other end. A good tip I had many years ago which I have stuck to with youngsters is place them in their water bowl (I use the top of a plastic food container turned upside down) Outdoors I use a large dish for flower pots (If the water is a tad spring cold I will top up to make it luke warm) every single day and leave them in it. They usually stomp off or sit for ages or meander off when they want to. The same one who eats stones actually does it herself now every morning, cold rain or shine. Shiver!
