unlucky or just stupid!
I've had a couple of daft moments setting up for the new torts, wanted to share my idiocy.
First, I love ordering things online. I usually get things delivered to my work so someone's always there to sign. Decided to buy some topsoil, went for a big bag as I thought it would last longer. So sitting at work yesterday and a huge sack arrives for me. For some reason I didn't realise that 25kgs weighs, well 25kg. So now I have to come up with a way to transport this massive sack of dirt home on the bus. Well done me! Second, I ordered some weed seeds online. Figured it would be good to have a supply to hand in case I can't find any growing wild. Planted a big trough and left it outside my front door last night. This morning leaving the house for work I decide to show my mum my green-fingers handiwork. Lo and behold half the soil has been tipped out of the pot and a massive cat poo sitting on my front doorstep. If anyone needs me I'll be sitting in the corner sulking! |

Cats are a real pest when it comes to sowing seeds or newly turned over soil. What you have to do is sow the seeds, and keep the area watered regularly. As cats dont like it wet:0) As for the soil, good luck:0)
