Default Christmas TV !!

I think the tv over the Christmas period has been terrible, I would say over 90% has been repeats, not even good ones either. We pay for the privilege of that too, it is never good at Christmas but this year they have excelled them selves.

I actually havent had the TV on all week! Been so busy with family etc, also got hubby a Wii U games console so he is playing with that on the TV. It is so hit and miss this time of year!

It has been diabolical! Luckily the kids have more or less grown out of the kids films shown on TV because they've seen them all goodness knows how many times!
I enjoyed the Call the Midwife and Downton Abbey specials but that's been it.
One of my Christmas presents was the DVD of Moll Flanders, which I loved back in the 90's and had on VHS, so hubby and I resorted to watching that one night.

I agree it has been terrible. I love Corrie, not an eastenders fan, Call the Midwife and Downton were great as always and I enjoyed the Agatha Raisin tv film, but I think that's about it. Still Open All Hours was quite good too. xx

This is what happens in a recession:0)
Repeats repeats and more repeats.
Or rubbishy so called reality programmes which must be cheap to make as they are so bad:0)

I agree, we didn't watch very much, but when I looked in the Radio times to see what's on, it was mostly repeats of repeats. Rubbish !

Hubby and I spent a couple of hour watching Frozen which was on the On Demand Sky thingy. Just so we could see what all the hype was about, obviously. It was actually hubby who put it on. Quite enjoyed that. Apart from that, not really had much time to watch TV. I have however still got Downton and Call the Midwife specials to watch on record.

Not sure we are still in recession but really hope we get out of it quickly if we are still in it.
There was hardly anything on we wanted to watch, I do like Corrie, never seen Downton or Call the Midwife, so not much left . Hubbie liked a bit though.
