Our new India Stars

Just wanted to post some pics of our two new Indian Star hatchlings that we have picked up this morning from Andy1.

Firstly though just wanted to say how impressed I was with Andy's set ups, tortoises and his knowledge. If we are ever after a tortoise breeder again he will be our first port of call!

So once we got home we snapped a few pictures and have now left them alone to settle in. Here are the two little ones arriving home:






















Now we just need to think of some names!

My wife likes Phoenix & Gemini where as I am leaning more towards Yoda and Jabba!!

Aw very cute! I can see a poo already! Are they settling in well?

Yes I think so, they had a little look about and are now in one of the warm hides.

So far both have wee'd and poo'd on me, as well as two poo's in the enclosure. They are wasting no time!!

Same age as yours. They're probably clutch mates

I saw the pics of yours from the bath time I think - really look fantastic.

And thanks again for the tips with the enclosure - have made some changes based on the feedback we got (branch out, warm humid hide for night and so on!).

Still have the pot hide in there though - and might swap that out for something else.

Now we are going to learn from them and change things as needed.
