Can I ask if your tort is still in indoor accomodation Nina as you still have pics of him up in his run. Is he poorly?

LOL - those pictures were taken in November, Sue, before he went into hibernation (but when it was too cold to be outside - I don't have an outside source of heat). Here's some more recent pictures of him in his outdoor enclosure (including one of him propped up against the outside of his favourite tunnel, catching the rays <g>:

He looks as though he is doing great Nina - all you need now is an extension cable (ducks) Seriously I thought he may not be OK as he was still inside. Has he dug any tunnels yet or is he happy enough with his ready made one. Mine had half plantpots but tunnelled down and under them, Heaven knows where it comes out but after the frog episode I'm not sticking my arm down again

Actually, he has dug a proper tunnel. Unfortunately his proper outdoor enclosure doesn't get the sun until about 11.30 a.m., so in the mornings he goes out into a temporary enclosure in another part of the garden, just made with log roll (but it's big and has lots of thing in it), and he is supervised the whole time. He has dug a tunnel there (luckily it's in the middle and only a couple of feet long, so he isn't in danger of escaping), that he is quite happy to go in and out of. Hopefully when I move house in the next few months he'll have a permanent enclosure with electrics and sun for all of the day instead of just the afternoon.
P.S. I just tried to email you, but my hotmail has gone down, so you probably won't get it until tomorrow. Has anyone else's hotmail gone down?

i saw that 140cm cage for £59 online but they were out of stock..... i found a site that had it for over a hundred pounds. i used my charm and got it down to £70 with delivery and i was happy enough with that!

further to your question laraine, bradley and gwendoline are 2 and a half. from head to tail they measure almost5 inches.

Neil.
