Hey everyone and thanks!
Hiya, I'm Sophie and I live in the East Mids. I joined because I currently own two Herman Tortoises, but am looking to sell them. Though now I've found this website it's almost made me want to keep them, only problem is I can no longer afford them and there is no space in my tiny little house.
I feel quite mean actually....reading the housing section about keeping tortoises in vivariums and how it stressess them out... explains why mine get so stressed! Also have two males...very sexually frustrated males at that! Should I sell them separatly so they can be with soome females! Any help, advice or people looking into buy them are welcome! Thanks again everyone for being so helpful and informative! You're all great SophieLady x |

Hello and a warm welcome, so glad you have listened to our advice. Yes best to separate them you will find they will be much happier. Can you not sell one and keep the other?

hi sophie
if you posted pics of your torts it would give people a general idea of their condition and whether thet are what they are looking for on not. Do you keep them in a viv now? Is this why you are selling them? maybe after searcging the site you may decide that you can make the relevant changes for them. How old are they? Welcome to the site, its fantastic Wendy |
