Sun and rain Photos
Here are some pictures I have taken this summer.
These were taken about 10 minutes ago. The rain was so heavy the gutter couldn't cope.

Beautiful photos of the sun setting Wendy. That rain looks atrocious though. So far today we've not had any rain, but it's cloudy and miserable. Typical for August. An Indian summer for September I reckon!!!

We have had torrential rain here last Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Lots of people have had to leave their homes due to flooding. Roads were shut all over the place. Think we are past it now thank goodness. There is a bit of blue sky today and I have managed to get a load of washing hung out for the first time this week. Hope your rain eases off soon.

Sums up the summer nicely. Weather of 2 extremes. Poor tortoises don't know what is happening.

That sunset really is beautiful. I love spending time in the garden when the bats are about. Usually when I go to shut the chickens in for the night I stop for a while and watch the little pipistrelles. They are so cute and I love the noise of their wings flapping. Something like that does make for a memorable moment. x

Lovely photos as everyone has said, it just about sums up the summer - glorious and awful!
