First time Henry came out!
This is the first time Henry has came out of his hide on his own since moving in on Friday and even had a little soak, progress has been made! (Sorry about the pellets, getting rid of these)

Henry is really lovely. He's going to adore the topsoil or coco coir once you get it in his table for him.

Awww he's gorgeous, he might feel more comfortable on soil and come out a bit more.
But give him time, it can take a few weeks for them to settle in.

Henry is lovely but that pellet substrate is not, would you want to walk around if every time you took a step the ground slid and moved under your feet? as already mentioned topsoil would be good and also maybe an area where he can walk on something hard such as a slate, sorry, just saying what others are hinting at.

He is a little cutie, am sure once you get his topsoil in he will be stomping round. I got those when I first got a tortoise as that was what the pet shop gave me with him and as soon as I changed it he was like a different tortoise. I also found them really smelly.
