latest hatchlings
Here are some pics of my latest hatchlings, two starting to make there way out 3 days ago at 111 days and were fully out of the egg by yesterday. Quite quick compared to what I've experienced with my others and very little egg sac too.
Here they are next to Jumanji. They are 17g and 19g so although still on the small side the largest for me so far. It's hard to think that Jumanji was 16g when he hatched 5 months ago - they grow so quick! This little one also made it out yesterday, he was upside down when I saw so I turned him round but then he was hanging out the bottom of the egg with quite a large egg sac so he's propped up in the incubator still. It's gone down quite alot by today already. Here he is I do have another egg from the same clutch, it definatley as a tortoise in, I'm hoping it's still alive and will make an appearence over the next few days. |

Thanks everyone I'm sure the little one with the egg sac will be fine, its going down well. You know me, I'm sure to keep you updated with photos over the next few weeks!
Hopefully the last egg will hatch too. |
