not been around much
not been around much, i have just had a very very tramatic week that ended with the loss of a much loved pet yesterday,
this has really taken it out of me, and i am now in serious debt from vets bills this has made me look at other things, and the way i am feeling, i think i may be parting with a lot of my tortoises, and giving up my animal rescue as well, i cant keep doing this |

they want to do a p/m on her, i dont think i want this, i just want to let her go, she is at my vets in my home town at the moment, but the vets that want the p.m is a 120 mile trip, i am not up to driving, for the last week i have only been getting 2 hrs of sleep @ a time do you think i would be awful to refuse, plus i would imagine they would be looking for me to pay |

So sorry to here this, Its totally your choice as to whether you have a pm done and that should be respected.

So sorry. That's the trouble with pets they break your hearts. If you don't want the pm done then don't. I guess it's been offered to find out exactly what was wrong, but if you can live without knowing this, don't do it. I could have done this with one of my dogs who died suddenly, but I didn't. It wouldn't have achieved anything or brought Dylan back. However it needs to be your decision. Like it's already been said don't rush into anything with the other pets. Take your time and allow yourself to grieve first. xx

So very sorry, give yourself some time before making any big decisions, grief and sleep deprivation both mess with your perspective. Personally I think you should go with your gut instinct about the pm, they can't change what has happened, just give answers if you need them or have concerns over the cause.

I feel really sorry for you Please don't give up your animal rescue and tortoises! Losing a pet upsets you for some time, but don't let it make you want to get rid of your others They'll make you feel better soon.
