Please help! Deformed Shell/MBD? (photo heavy)
Hi all, I would like to ask whether my tort has problem with her shell and is it the starting of MBD (I hope not ). My tort was born with a 'funny' shell and for this reason, I don't know if this is the cause of the slightly deformed shell, or is it me who didn't take care of her well enough...For reference, I have included a few of her baby pic as well.
Temperature is ~32C at hot end, ~20C cold end. I give her 2 x T5 D3 lamp (12% UVB). I feed her mostly pellet these days supplemented with Calcium and Nutrobal. Baby: Now (almost 3 yrs old):

She looks good to me, her shell is a weird shape but her shell was like that when she hatched. X

She's roughly 10cm long and weighs around 200grams. Probably a little underweight? Her shell was not exactly 'round' if you look at the first photo of her now. Is it true their shell grow vertically then sideways?

Well at 10cm she should be around 229g, so not that far off. The growth is smooth, so it could be just genetic the way that she's growing. Not really seeing a problem with it.

I think she looks quite nice too. Considering everything you are doing is spot on, I can't see how it's your fault that she's a slightly odd shape, I think it's more likely genetic. She's very pretty
