Im going to leave the eggs in peace. Ill take some more photo's in a week to see how they are progressing

Sorry to bring a downer on this
But if your eggs are 2.5 weeks old, they could be rotting inside and disintergrating. This sometimes makes them look like they are chalking up

I only say this as the chalking up in your picture doesnt look solid - a perfect round blob normally.

Now i could be wrong, but i would keep an eye on it as it should get much bigger than that.

Your using the same incubator as me! I use mine for horsfield eggs though. Best of luck with them all!

I hatched 2 babies last year with it. So its definitely capable of it! How long do hingebacks incubate for?

No idea.. i have Hermann's unless that word is a differnt term for them *doesnt want to sound dumb lol*

Hermann's take 8-9 weeks if im correct. Did you add water to the bedding inside the incubtor or just fill the water bits? I only filled the water section but seen some make the bedding wet also ^^

I moistened the vermiculite when i needed to. As i found the small trays a bit too fiddly to fill up. Plus i found the humidity didn't stay stable for long.
